SLV NUMINOS DL XL recessed downlight black/white 3000 K 37.4 W 3550 lm 1004013

SLV NUMINOS DL XL 1004013 is a round recessed LED ceiling light with a black outer trim and a white reflector interior. Its light source sits back inside the opening. The aluminium body is concealed above the ceiling, leaving a contrasting circular rim visible from the room.

Warm white light in a 40° beam

This version delivers 3550 lm at 3000 K with a power rating of 37.4 W. A 40° beam directs light towards a defined area rather than distributing it equally in every direction. It can therefore form part of a zoned lighting scheme in a living room, dining area, hotel reception or shop. The spacing between fittings should follow the ceiling height and the illuminance required on the surface below, rather than the lumen figure alone.

A CRI of 90 matters when the appearance of fabrics, furnishings or displayed items is important. Warm white is the fixed colour temperature of this particular variant: there is no CCT selection switch.

Check the cut-out, not just the trim

The outer diameter is 16 cm, while the circular ceiling cut-out must measure 14.5 cm. The body is 10.8 cm high and SLV specifies an installation depth of 11.5 cm. Check the space above the ceiling and the clearances and ventilation required by the manual before preparing the opening. The fitting must not be covered with insulation. The visible diameter is therefore not the dimension to use when cutting the ceiling.

Driver requirements and interior style

Operation requires a suitable constant-current LED driver rated at 1050 mA and at least 37.4 W. Driver selection and electrical connection must be handled by a qualified electrician; control options depend on the chosen driver. The light source may also be replaced only by a professional. Despite its IP20/IP44 designation, this fitting is intended for indoor use only.

The plain circular outline and black-and-white finish suit modern and minimalist interiors. This recessed format keeps a suspended decorative body out of the room and lets the lighting layout take visual precedence.
