Rectangular Plate Lagoon Medium 12 x 30 cm

The Lagoon M by Bazar Bizar is a ceramic serving plate with a long rectangular outline, rounded corners and a gently raised rim. Its turquoise-green glaze shifts towards darker earthy tones at the edges. A fine woven-looking pattern runs across the inner surface rather than leaving a plain block of colour.

A narrow format for arranging food

The plate measures 30 cm long, 12 cm wide and 2.5 cm high. Consider those slender proportions when planning portions: this is an elongated serving plate, not a large round dinner plate. The manufacturer suggests sushi, fruit and desserts as examples of what to serve. Individual pieces can follow the length of the plate instead of being grouped around a broad central area.

Use it as part of kitchen and dining-room tableware. Before setting the table, compare its outside measurements with the space left between your other dishes. The M designation identifies this particular size; it does not indicate a quantity or a multi-piece set. Photographs showing other shapes illustrate the collection rather than the contents supplied with this plate.

Variation in the glazed finish

Hand-finishing brings small differences in tone and glaze distribution, so individual pieces need not reproduce the photographed colour pattern exactly. The woven texture, softened outline and uneven earthy shading support rustic or boho table settings. Lagoon is the collection and colourway name, not an additional material: the plate itself is ceramic.

Washing and handling

The manufacturer confirms food-contact suitability, dishwasher use and microwave use. For hand washing, it recommends warm water, mild washing-up liquid and a soft sponge or cloth. Dry thoroughly afterwards. Avoid abrasive tools and sudden temperature changes, which may damage the surface. Store the plate carefully; the manufacturer does not classify this model as stackable. These handling points matter when putting it away alongside other pieces of glazed tableware.
