Rendl MARCO 70 silver-grey recessed wall light LED 3 W IP65 R14143

MARCO 70 recessed wall light R14143

Rendl MARCO 70 R14143 is a round recessed fitting designed for installation in a wall. This version has a silver-grey finish and directs light downwards through a shielded opening in the lower part of its face. Once installed, the visible element is a circular plate measuring 7 cm in diameter, so the fitting projects only slightly beyond the wall surface. The manufacturer specifies the model for both indoor and outdoor use. Its IP65 rating is intended for locations where dust and water exposure must be considered within the limits defined by that protection class.

The fitting contains an integrated 3 W LED light source. It produces a luminous flux of 94 lm, with a colour temperature of 3000 K and a colour rendering index of Ra 80. The warm light is aimed downwards and is intended primarily to mark the line of a wall and illuminate the area immediately below the fitting. The manufacturer states a module lifetime of 30,000 hours. Both the light source and the transformer are included, so this model does not require a separate lamp with a conventional cap.

MARCO 70 connects directly to a 230 V supply. Installation requires a round cut-out 5.8 cm in diameter and a recess at least 6.5 cm deep. A mounting box is supplied with the product. According to the manufacturer’s current data, the fitting itself weighs 146 g. Before making the opening, check the cable route, wall thickness and the available space for the box. The selected mounting position also determines the section of wall or ground reached by the downward light.

The model can provide discreet orientation lighting beside steps, along a circulation route, on a terrace or near a passage, provided the manufacturer’s installation requirements are observed. The face must be positioned so that the light outlet points downwards. Connection to the 230 V mains should be completed with the supply isolated, following the manual and the electrical requirements applicable to the installation location. The exact reference for the silver-grey version is R14143, and its assigned EAN is 8595685428871.
