s.luce GU10 LED Bulb 2700K 450 lm Dimmable Chrome Glass

This is an s.luce LED bulb with a GU10 cap, in a clear glass body with a chrome finish. It measures 5 cm in diameter and 5.3 cm in height, the standard size of a GU10 source, and runs directly on 230 V mains — no transformer is needed.

How much light and what kind

At 5 W the bulb gives 450 lm. That is less than an old 60 W bulb (about 800 lm), so it works best in downlights and spotlights where several sources shine side by side, or as accent light. A 120° beam angle is wide for a GU10 — the light spreads in a broad cone rather than a narrow spot.

A colour temperature of 2700 K is warm, slightly yellow light close to a traditional incandescent bulb. The colour rendering index is Ra 90, so the colours of fabrics, wood or food look natural under it — which matters in a kitchen, a dining room and at a mirror.

Dimming

The bulb can be dimmed with phase-cut dimmers, both leading-edge and trailing-edge. In a circuit with an ordinary switch it runs at full brightness.

Lifetime

The manufacturer states an average lifetime of 25,000 hours and 15,000 switching cycles. At three hours of use a day that is more than twenty years of operation. The energy efficiency class of the source is F.
