s.luce Modular White Metal Cable Shortener, 20 cm

The white s.luce Modular cable shortener is a metal accessory for adjusting the drop of a pendant light. Variant 145009 is 20 cm long with a 1.6 cm diameter, so it remains discreet beside a cable and a white fitting. It is not a light fitting by itself: it is intended to organise excess cable on a compatible pendant light.

Adjusting the suspension by winding

The cable passes through two milled openings and is wound around the piece. The manufacturer states that each turn reduces the drop by about 8 cm, with a maximum reduction of 200 cm. This makes it possible to refine the hanging height without reinstalling the electrical fitting when a cable proves too long after the pendant has been hung. Before buying, compare the intended height change with the cable length on your own light.

Compatible cable types

The Modular accessory is designed for common textile and PVC cables. It does not replace a ceiling rose, ceiling fixing or light source; it is an addition to a pendant light. Its white metal finish can visually match white fitting details, while technical compatibility should be checked against the type and dimensions of the cable in use.

Size and form

This slim cylinder measures 20 cm in length and 1.6 cm in diameter. The metal surface and simple geometric form suit the functional s.luce Modular system. It is useful where a visible cable section needs controlled shortening, such as above a table or island, provided that the particular pendant and cable are suitable for this use.
