The s.luce Orb is a table lamp with a clear glass sphere measuring 20 cm in diameter. The sphere rests on a simple black metal ring, keeping the glass as the visible focal point. This is the Klar variant from the Orb range, article 172284, EAN 4064782276394.
Light source and operation
An E27 lampholder sits inside the sphere. The lamp is supplied without a light source, so an E27 bulb of up to 40 W needs to be selected separately. The manufacturer states that dimming is possible with a suitable light source. A switch is fitted to the cable with plug, and the lamp connects to a 230 V socket.
Size and placement
The diameter, width, length and height are each 20 cm. Compare that measurement with the available surface on a side table, cabinet or bedside table before choosing its position. IP20 is stated as a technical protection rating. The clear glass and round silhouette make a modern, visually light accent.
