s.luce Orb Tripod combines a clear glass globe measuring 30 cm in diameter with a matt black tripod. Three slim legs meet beneath the shade before spreading towards the floor. The transparent glass leaves the bulb and upper part of the support visible, so the light source you choose becomes part of the lamp's appearance.

Clear glass frames a visible bulb

The glass defines the spherical shade while black metal forms a simple geometric stand beneath it. This combination suits a modern living room, bedroom or study. A decorative filament bulb can emphasise the inside of the globe; you select its shape and light colour separately. A single E27 socket also allows the light source to be changed later without replacing the whole floor lamp.

A tall lamp beside seating

Orb Tripod stands 160 cm high. Its 30 cm globe sits on top of the tripod, so consider its position in relation to the back of an armchair, a sofa and nearby furniture. Allow room for the three splayed legs and the black textile cable when planning the placement. The open metal structure leaves the background visible between the supports, giving the lamp a light, linear outline.

Adjust the brightness on the cable

The cable has an integrated dimmer switch. Brightness adjustment requires a suitable dimmable E27 bulb that works with the dimmer. The bulb is purchased separately and the maximum permitted rating is 40 W. Choosing your own light source lets you select the output and light colour for relaxing or other activities in the room. Made from glass and metal, Orb Tripod operates at 230 V and its IP20 rating makes it suitable for dry indoor spaces.
