HORN 113141 is a round recessed ceiling light in matt white for a single GU10 lamp. The lamp sits deep inside the conical body, set back from the rim, and its direction can be tilted by 30°.
Dimensions and ceiling installation
The visible trim is 10.5 cm across, and the ceiling needs a round cut-out 9.7 cm in diameter. Clip springs hold the fitting in the hole, so no separate mounting frame is needed. According to the manufacturer's drawing, the ceiling can be up to 30 mm thick.
The installation depth is 13 cm, which is the clear space needed above the ceiling board, including room for the cable and the connection box. Compare it with the void above your suspended ceiling before cutting the hole. The fitting weighs 0.205 kg.
Light source and power
No lamp is included. The fitting takes one GU10 lamp of up to 25 W, and SLV recommends its own QPAR51 GU10 LED lamps for it, including 1005273 (6 W, CRI 90, 36°) and 1005076 (2700 K). Colour and brightness are therefore decided by the lamp you choose.
The fitting runs directly on 220–240 V mains voltage and has no driver or control electronics of its own. If you want to dim it, you need a dimmable GU10 lamp and a suitable dimmer. It is a protection class II fitting, so no earth conductor needs to be connected.
What it is suited for
The 30° tilt lets you aim the light at a wall, a picture or part of a worktop instead of straight down. Setting the lamp back reduces glare, because at normal viewing angles the source stays hidden inside the fitting. It is intended for indoor use.
