SLV LED Driver 250 mA 6.5-10 W Phase Dimmable for Numinos White 1004055

The SLV 1004055 LED driver is a constant-current supply with a 250 mA output, intended by the manufacturer for the Downlight NUMINOS luminaire series. It handles a load of 6.5 to 10 W and can be dimmed with a trailing-edge phase dimmer.

What it works with

The driver holds a constant 250 mA at an output voltage of 26–40 V on a single output. It therefore suits only a luminaire or LED module driven at 250 mA whose power lies between 6.5 and 10 W — a 350 or 500 mA luminaire will get too little current from it, and a module above 10 W exceeds its rating. The input is 220–240 V mains at 50/60 Hz.

Dimming

The brightness of the luminaire is adjusted with an ordinary phase dimmer fitted in place of the light switch. The manufacturer specifies a trailing-edge dimmer; the driver does not support DALI.

Size and installation

The white polycarbonate housing measures 6.5 × 3.9 × 2 cm and weighs 62 g. It is an independent driver, mounted separately outside the luminaire rather than built into it. It is rated IP20 and designed for ambient temperatures from -20 to 45 °C.
