Norlys Stockholm 297BL is a black garden bollard with a clear shade surrounded by horizontal rings. Its cylindrical hot-dip galvanised steel body and flat top give it a restrained Scandinavian outline. The BL version is finished in black RAL 9005.
A clear shade around a replaceable lamp
This version uses transparent PMMA rather than the opal shade found on other Stockholm variants. The bulb remains visible between the rings, so its shape affects the appearance of the fitting even when switched off. The light distribution is rotationally symmetrical, sending light around the bollard rather than concentrating it on a single target like a spotlight.
The E27 holder takes an A55–A60 LED bulb rated at no more than 9 W. This is a limit on bulb power, not a statement of brightness. Check the chosen bulb for its light output and colour temperature: neither is fixed by the bollard itself. A replaceable light source lets you change those characteristics without replacing the complete fitting. When planning a row of lights, compare the selected bulbs as well as the dimensions of the posts.
An 85 cm post beside paths and terraces
The fitting measures 85 cm high, with a width and depth of 17 cm. Compare these measurements with nearby planting and the edge of the paved area before deciding where to install it. This is low-level lighting for the surrounding pedestrian space, not a substitute for a tall lighting column. Norlys specifies use in private grounds and public areas, including garden routes, terrace edges and park paths.
Fixed mounting and a simple silhouette
The bollard requires a fixed mounting surface; it is not a portable lamp or a spike pushed straight into soil. Three 9 mm fixing holes are spaced at 120° on a 56 mm pitch circle. Plan the support and any required anchor before installation; mounting accessories are offered separately by the manufacturer. The fitting is rated IP65 and IK10. Its black cylinder and repeated rings suit modern, minimalist and Scandinavian outdoor schemes.
