LED strip PRO 3Y 24V 2800 LED COB 12.6W 2700-2200K, 5m

This COB strip from LED Labs Lighting works as a Dim to Warm light source: the further you dim it, the warmer the light becomes — from 2700 K at full brightness down to 2200 K when heavily dimmed. It is the same effect a dimmed incandescent bulb gives, which is why the strip suits living rooms, bedrooms and hospitality spaces.

COB — light without dots

The diodes sit directly on the board (Chip on Board), so the strip glows as a continuous line instead of a row of points. Inside an aluminium profile there is none of the usual dotting, and the spread is wider than on older SMD strips. There are 560 diodes per metre, so 2800 across the full 5-metre roll.

The 3Y series

3Y is the professional line: a PCB laminate with 3 oz of copper carries heat away and limits voltage drop over long runs, and the Blue Tape backing holds firmly in a cleaned profile. The manufacturer quotes 35,000 operating hours and a five-year warranty.

Installation and power

The strip runs on 24 V DC and needs a separate driver — at 12.6 W/m the whole roll draws about 63 W, so allow roughly 10% headroom when sizing the supply. It can be cut every 50 mm at the marked points. An IP20 rating means no moisture protection, so the mounting location must be dry.
