The Teak Root Sushi Plate - L

The Teak Root Sushi Plate L by BAZAR BIZAR is a rectangular teak wood plate in a natural finish. Pronounced grain, gently raised edges and a shallow centre give it the profile of a wooden serving tray rather than a deep dish.

Check the footprint of size L

This version measures 35 cm long, 18 cm wide and 3 cm high. Compare those dimensions with the intended space on your dining table, shelf or dresser before choosing it. L identifies this particular size, not a stated number of servings. The elongated surface allows smaller items to be arranged along its length.

The manufacturer suggests kitchen and dining-table use, as well as displaying jewellery or toiletries in a bedroom. That makes a dresser-top arrangement an alternative to food presentation, rather than restricting the plate to the use suggested by its sushi name.

Natural grain and food-use limits

Handmade production with natural materials means individual pieces can differ in colour, wood pattern and small details. The exposed grain works with rustic and boho accessories where a visible timber surface is preferred to a uniform block of colour.

Despite the sushi name, the technical specification limits food contact to dry food only. Do not put the plate in an oven, microwave or dishwasher. Styled photographs do not remove these stated restrictions or establish permission for other food uses.

Cleaning and ongoing care

Wash by hand using mild soap, warm water and a soft cloth or sponge, then dry thoroughly straight away. Avoid soaking, abrasive tools and harsh cleaning products. The manufacturer recommends regular oiling to help retain the natural colour and reduce drying or cracking.
