Zambelis 22291 Cable Connection Box for 2082 Surface Magnetic Profiles White

Zambelis 22291 is a cable connection box for 48 V magnetic lighting systems. The white rectangular metal body has a fine-grained finish and a cut-out on the underside that slides over the profile. It does not light anything itself — its job is to cover the point where the wiring enters the track.

What it fits

The manufacturer intends the 22291 exclusively for the surface-mounted magnetic profiles of the 2082 series. It is not a general-purpose junction box: it was not designed for three-phase track, for recessed profiles or for other makers' systems.

The system runs at 48 V, fed from a driver placed outside the track. The box is a separate item — the profile, the driver and the wiring are bought separately.

Dimensions and its role in the installation

The part measures 80 mm long, 26 mm wide and 52 mm high, that is 8 × 2.6 × 5.2 cm. Those figures are worth comparing with the space left at the end of the track run: the box does not disappear into the profile, it sits on top of it and stays visible.

It has no contacts and no power of its own. It tidies and conceals the cable joints that have to be made anyway to bring 48 V to the track, so no open terminal block or bundle of wires is left on the ceiling.

Build and the black version

The housing is metal, painted white with a fine texture that scatters reflections — against a light ceiling the part reads as a small, flat protrusion. Boxed it weighs 0.3 kg.

The manufacturer lists the same part in black under the code 22290, so the box can be matched to the colour of the profile already installed.
