The black SLV 143170 adapter connects a luminaire to the SLV 1~ SYSTEM single-circuit track. It is an electrical accessory with a hook for suspending a light fitting, not a complete light or a light source. Its housing is made from polycarbonate.

Match the track and the fitting

This adapter provides a connection for suitable mains-voltage luminaires outside the track-light family. Selection depends on compatibility with SLV 1~ SYSTEM and with both the suspension and electrical connection of the chosen fitting. A single-circuit designation alone does not establish compatibility with tracks from other manufacturers.

The hook provides a suspension point. The installation manual specifies a maximum load of 20 N, which must be considered when choosing the luminaire. The adapter's own weight is not its load capacity. Its dimensions of 8.5 × 3.5 × 7.4 cm are the accessory's length, width and height, rather than the size of the complete lighting installation.

Electrical installation

The manual gives ratings of 250 V AC, 50/60 Hz and a maximum of 6 A, with a conductor cross-section of 0.75–1.5 mm². Installation and connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician, following local regulations and the manufacturer's wiring diagram. Switch off the supply before work begins.

The black finish and simple elongated housing can be visually coordinated with a black track. The adapter does not determine light distribution, light colour or suitability for a particular lighting task; these depend on the connected luminaire.
