Asker 1313GB LED Bollard Light, beige grey, NORLYS

Asker 1313GB is an 85 cm bollard light in powder-painted cast aluminium, finished in beige grey. The light leaves through a structured clear polycarbonate bowl, UV-stabilised, set into the upper part of the body.

Size and anchoring into the ground

The fitting measures 85 × 20 × 11 cm and weighs 4.01 kg. At that height the light falls from knee level, so the bollard lights the path surface rather than the face of whoever is walking along it — the basic difference from a lantern on a taller post.

The base bolts down through four ø8 mm holes spaced 18 × 50 mm. The maker states outright that the mounting accessories are bought separately: concreting anchor 1907ZX0009, ground anchor 1908GA0009, adapter for a concrete foundation 1909GA0010, and adapters 3081XX0009 and 3090GA0009. Without one of them there is nothing for the bollard to fix to.

The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.4 mm², and looping through to the next fitting up to 3 × 4 mm². A row of these along a driveway therefore runs off one supply line rather than a separate cable to each. The gland accepts round cable of ø4–8, ø8–12 or ø10–13.6 mm.

The light it gives

The built-in LED module draws 7.2 W and delivers 543 lm out of the fitting, at 2700 K — warm, slightly yellow, close to a traditional incandescent. A colour rendering index of Ra 80 is enough for finding your way outdoors.

The output is aimed downwards: upward light output is 0.6% and the BUG rating B0-U1-G0 confirms the fitting throws virtually nothing at the sky or into a neighbour's windows. The source is not user-changeable — the manufacturer lists the LED module and the driver as service parts ZS4699101113 and ZS46999746.

The fitting dims, but only on a trailing-edge dimmer (RC type). An older leading-edge R or RL dimmer will not drive it.

Build and life outdoors

Ingress protection IP65 means fully dust-tight and resistant to water jets, so the bollard can stand in the open. Impact resistance IK10 is the top of that scale — the housing is rated for a blow, which matters practically on a fitting standing at mower height.

The body is sealed with a silicone gasket and an EPDM cable gland. The fitting is protection class I, so a protective earth conductor has to reach the terminals as well.
