Asker 5225AL Light Grey LED Garden Lantern by NORLYS

NORLYS Asker 5225AL is a three-metre LED garden pole light with a narrow upright and a short, angled arm. The AL version has a light grey RAL 9006 finish on a powder-coated extruded aluminium body. Its straight lines and undecorated silhouette give it a modern, minimalist appearance rather than the shape of a traditional lantern.

Area lighting for private grounds and parks

This version uses a Ledil VSM optic with an IESNA Type V distribution. Its broad, even distribution is intended to light an area rather than spotlight one small object. When planning a garden, driveway or park installation, the available photometric files are the appropriate basis for checking pole spacing instead of relying on the appearance of the fitting alone.

The integrated LED produces neutral white light at 4000 K. The complete luminaire delivers 2790 lm with a power consumption of 19.7 W. Both the light source and electronic driver form part of the construction, so there is no separate screw-in bulb to choose. A transparent PMMA lens covers the optical assembly.

Allow for the full height and mounting arrangement

The two-section structure measures 24 × 48.5 × 300 cm. Site planning needs to account for the projecting arm and overall height as well as the base. It can illuminate grounds beside a terrace, but it is not a low bollard intended to sit among outdoor furniture.

The base has four holes for M14 anchor studs at 180 × 180 mm centres. NORLYS specifies compatibility with the B-50 concrete foundation; additional mounting accessories are purchased separately. A suitably qualified installer must carry out the fixing and electrical connection in accordance with the installation instructions.

Dimming and professional servicing

The fitting supports both Trailing Edge and Leading Edge phase dimming. Specify a compatible dimmer rather than assuming that any lighting controller will work. The enclosure is rated IP65 with IK08 impact resistance. Its LED module and control gear can be replaced by a professional service, rather than through routine household bulb replacement.
