BAZAR BIZAR Rooty teak wood side table, natural, 45 cm high

Rooty by BAZAR BIZAR is a handmade side table carved from reclaimed teak roots. Its irregular top, visible grain and slender, splayed legs give it an open silhouette rather than a solid block shape. The natural colour leaves the wood pattern visible. This table is intended for indoor use only.

Allow for the changing shape of the top

The manufacturer lists a height of 45 cm and nominal length and width of 45 cm each. It also specifies that the top diameter varies between approximately 30 and 45 cm. Rooty therefore does not have a consistently sized square top: its outline, shade and available surface can differ from the photographed example.

Before placing it beside a sofa or armchair, compare the 45 cm height with your seat and armrest. Allow space for the splayed legs as well as the edge of the top. The smaller surface provides a side position for a book or decorative object rather than replacing a large coffee table in front of the sofa.

Reclaimed roots, visible grain

The material is reclaimed teak root wood, and the manufacturer identifies Indonesia as the country of origin. The photographs show an undulating edge, recesses and changing grain direction. These features support pairing it with rustic or boho furnishings; they do not promise the same wood pattern in every piece. The photographed table illustrates the design rather than the precise shape of the one supplied.

Indoor placement and care

Rooty is not a patio table. The manufacturer rules out outdoor use even in covered areas because of humidity and weather exposure. For routine dust removal, it recommends a soft cloth or brush. When more cleaning is needed, use a lightly damp cloth with a little mild soap, then dry the wood thoroughly. Keep the indoor-only restriction in mind when choosing its position; a roof over an outdoor seating area does not change that requirement.
