Bazar Bizar Sama Sama Teak Bar Stool, Natural, 75 cm Seat Height

The Sama Sama by Bazar Bizar is a natural-colour teak bar stool with a backrest divided into two separate sections. Its vertical supports run from the floor through the seat to the backrest, leaving the timber connections visible. The wooden seat is unupholstered, so the material and construction remain part of the design.

Choose by seat height, not overall height

The seat stands 75 cm above the floor, while the overall height of 108 cm includes the backrest. That distinction matters when choosing seating for a home bar or a high counter in a kitchen or dining area. Compare the seat height with your counter rather than using the top of the backrest as the reference.

For orientation, a typical bar counter is around 100–110 cm high. Check your own counter height, the clearance underneath and the space available for your legs. The stool measures 58 cm wide and 46 cm long overall. If you plan several seats in a row, allow for gaps between them and for access behind the backrests; the furniture dimensions are not the full space needed to use each seat.

Split timber details and natural variation

Rounded backrest sections, broad legs and lower crosspieces create a clearly defined geometric form. The exposed joinery and visible grain suit rustic and boho interiors where timber is meant to remain on show. This is seating for a high bar area, rather than a replacement for a lower chair at an ordinary dining table.

The manufacturer identifies the stool as handmade in Indonesia. Grain, shade and small irregularities may vary between pieces. The photographs show the design and finish, not a guaranteed identical pattern on every timber component.

Care and placement

Remove dust with a soft cloth or brush. For occasional deeper cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth with mild soap, then dry the wood thoroughly without saturating it. The manufacturer also recommends periodic oiling or a suitable protective treatment.

Choose a dry setting and avoid prolonged exposure to moisture. Follow those care conditions when deciding where the stool will stand: teak construction alone does not mean it can be left indefinitely in the rain.
