Plan the lettering without fixed cutting intervals

HXR One can be cut at any point, so a letter, outline or logo does not have to follow predetermined cutting sections. Its 7 × 15 mm cross-section matters when laying out the design: allow for the actual width and height of the neon rather than treating it as a dimensionless drawn line.

The specified bending radius is 30 mm, with twisting of up to 360° over each 30 cm. Flexibility does not mean that sharp folds are permitted. Purple silicone remains part of the design when the light is off. The plain linear form suits modern graphic and decorative projects in which the route of the neon defines the shape.

Power and connection components

This version operates on 24 V DC and consumes 9 W per metre. It must not be connected directly to a 230 V mains supply. The technical sheet confirms dimmability; power and control equipment must be selected for the complete planned installation. The maximum length powered from one end is 10 m.

The documentation does not specify an accessory kit for a one-metre section. Brackets, profiles, connectors and end caps are listed as separate system components. The note about a factory-fitted connection and end cap applies to a full reel and should not be read as the contents of every cut section.

Decorative indoor and outdoor outlines

The manufacturer permits outdoor use and specifies IP67 protection, UV resistance and salt resistance. After cutting, ends and connections need system-appropriate finishing to maintain the installation’s protection. Purple light is primarily for decorative lettering and edge definition, rather than a substitute for white task lighting.
