Bergmen: LED Neon Flex and components from Poland

Bergmen is a Polish LED lighting company based in Skawina. It describes itself as a partner for sign makers, designers, installers and LED distributors, and it runs its own production with an in-house R&D team, controlling each step from the idea to the finished product. Besides LED modules, strips, aluminium profiles, power supplies and controls, Bergmen also makes Neon Flex: flexible LED lines that look like classic glass neon but are built from LEDs inside a silicone body.

What Neon Flex is good at

Neon Flex gives a continuous line of light without visible dots, so it suits edge lighting on furniture and walls, coves and corners, transitions between surfaces, and illuminated lettering or logos. Bergmen splits its lines by how they bend. Some bend freely in any direction, others only vertically or only horizontally, and some lines emit light all round, at 360°. Bodies come in standard white or opal and, on some lines, in black, which disappears against a dark surface when the light is off.

Bergmen products at Lunares

At Lunares you will find Bergmen Neon Flex in white light of various colour temperatures and in colours such as red, green and blue, together with everything needed to install it: end caps, power connectors and connection cables, Neon Flex profiles and mounting accessories such as clips and brackets. Matching the connector and cap to the exact line matters, because each Neon Flex family has its own cross-section.

How to choose the right Neon Flex

  • Bending direction. Decide first how the line will run: along a flat edge, around a curve, or in lettering. That tells you whether you need a vertical, horizontal or free-bending line.
  • Voltage and power supply. Bergmen lines run on low-voltage DC, 24 V or 12 V depending on the line. Add up the power per metre over the full length and choose a power supply with a margin.
  • Cutting length. Every line can only be cut at set points. Check the cut section before measuring the run, so the line ends exactly where you want it.
  • Brightness and colour. Output is given in lumens per metre. For accent lighting a lower output is often enough; for a sign seen from a distance, choose a brighter line.
  • Protection. Lines such as HXR One, HS and HXS are rated IP67, which suits outdoor and damp locations; check the rating of your particular line and of its connectors.
