Bologna 364BL Three-Arm Garden Lantern on Telescopic Post 165–254 cm, 3×E27, Black RAL 9005 – Norlys

The Bologna 364BL is a classic-style garden lantern with three globe shades: the centre one sits on top of the post, the two side ones are carried on curved arms. The clear PMMA shades are set in black ribbed cups, and the luminaire and post are made of cast aluminium, powder-coated black (RAL 9005).

Height, span and where it stands

The post is telescopic, so the lantern height is adjustable from 165 to 254 cm. Compare the upper value with the tree canopy and roof eaves where the lantern is going to stand. The arms with the shades span 65 cm – that is the clear space it needs at the top, away from branches and roof edges.

The set includes the three-shade luminaire (art. 3025), a reducer (art. 3040) and the post (art. 3010). The base is bolted down through three ø10.5 mm holes spaced 120° apart on a ø240 mm circle. Norlys sells the concreting anchor, ground anchor, concrete foundation and foundation adapter separately – they are not in the box.

Bulbs and light

Each of the three shades has an E27 socket and takes an A55–A60 bulb, LED up to 9 W. Bulbs are not included: you need three, and they determine the light colour. Because the shades are clear, the bulb stays visible, so its shape becomes part of how the lantern looks.

The bulbs can be replaced by the user. The luminaire is protection class II, so it does not need a protective earth connection. The terminal takes conductors up to 4×2.5 mm² in round insulation of 6–12.5 mm diameter and allows several lanterns to be looped on one circuit.

Where it fits

IP54 means protection against water splashes from any direction and against dust, so the lantern can stand outdoors without cover. The manufacturer gives an operating temperature range of −20 to +45 °C. Globe shades and ornamental arms make it a classic form, intended for a garden by the house, parks and terraces, and for the area in front of a hotel or restaurant.
