Paul Neuhaus Bota 4037-55 is a compact table lamp with a white plastic shade and a steel-coloured base. The shade has a rounded, bulbous shape and almost completely covers the small round base. The pale cover screens the light source and diffuses its glow, making the fitting suitable for supplementary light beside a bed or on a sideboard.
Sized for a small table
The lamp is 15 cm high and 12 cm in diameter. Compare the shade width with the free surface on your table and leave access to the metal part used to operate the lamp. This is an indoor fitting with an IP20 rating.
White plastic and a steel-coloured finish create a light appearance without a bulky fabric shade. The source sits inside the shade, while the metal base provides a clear outline against the tabletop. Power is supplied by cable. The cord is 1.5 m long, so check the distance to the socket before choosing a position.
Three brightness levels by touch
The integrated touch dimmer selects three levels of brightness: 10%, 50% and 100%. Touching the metal part of the lamp changes the setting without a separate remote. Beside a bed, this lets you reduce the intensity for evening use. Adjustment is in steps rather than continuously variable.
LED with warm-white 3000 K light
The integrated LED source is included and produces fixed 3000 K warm-white light. The complete fitting emits 500 lm at a total rated power of 7 W. The manufacturer specifies 580 lm for the module alone; use 500 lm when comparing complete lamps. There is no separate screw-in bulb to select.
