Brinova FLAMO pairs a rectangular linen shade with an oak-finish column and a black base. Black edging outlines the beige fabric, while a narrow LED strip runs down the front of the column. This table version uses the A1760 shade and combines an E27 lampholder with an integrated lighting module.

Keep the two light sources distinct

The shade houses a single E27 bulb position rated for a maximum of 40 W. The bulb you choose determines the main light's brightness and colour, rather than the specifications of the additional LED. That built-in module is rated at 4.6 W, with a warm 3000 K colour temperature and a stated output of 245 lm. This figure should not be read as the combined output of the whole lamp with any E27 bulb fitted. A touch dimmer is also specified by the manufacturer.

Allow space for the shade, not just the base

The lamp stands 55 cm high. Its shade measures 30 cm along the longer side and 20 cm across the shorter side, above a 20 × 20 cm base. When choosing a bedside table or console, check the shade's overhang as well as the surface needed beneath the base. Also compare the overall height with any shelf above it. The black cable exits near the bottom, so its route to the socket is another consideration when positioning the lamp.

Oak appearance with an MDF construction

The body combines MDF with a surface covering and metal; it is not specified as solid oak. The shade is linen fabric. Its simple rectangular forms, visible wood-grain finish and restrained black outlines suit modern, minimalist and Scandinavian interiors. FLAMO can serve as an additional table light on a living-room sideboard, beside a bed or on a hotel console. Its broad shade and upright proportions are worth comparing with the furniture before deciding where it should stand.
