CORTAZAR lighting bollard 65 cm black LED Luces Exclusivas LE71487

CORTAZAR is a black lighting bollard by Luces Exclusivas, shaped as a flat aluminium slab 65 cm tall with an elongated oval opening running right through it. The fitting has a built-in LED source, and alongside aluminium the manufacturer lists acrylic in its construction.

Dimensions and where it stands

The bollard is 65 cm high, 17.8 cm wide and only 6.9 cm thick, so from the side it reads as a narrow strip and from the front as a rectangular frame with an oval cut-out. At 65 cm it serves as path, driveway or border lighting rather than a lamp post. The same series includes a lower CORTAZAR version, 30 cm tall, with the same light source — both can be used in one garden, for example the taller one by the entrance and the lower one along the path.

What light it gives

The integrated 13.5 W LED module gives a luminous flux of 890 lm, roughly as much as an old 60 W bulb. At 3000 K the light is warm white, close to that of a traditional bulb. The source is not replaced like a bulb and there is nothing to buy separately.

Power supply and weather resistance

The bollard runs on 230 V mains, so a power cable has to be laid to the spot where it stands. The IP54 rating means protection against dust and against splashing water from any direction, so the fitting can stand outdoors without a cover. The housing is made of black aluminium. The bollard is intended for gardens, driveways and along the street.
