The lamp is 69.9 cm tall including the shade, and the shade is 45.7 cm across — wider than the base, which occupies a 16.5 cm circle on the surface. Compare the shade width with your chest of drawers, console or desk: there is free surface either side of the base, but the shade needs room above it. The lamp weighs 3.1 kg.
The manufacturer specifies it for living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and studies. It is a Class I fitting for indoor use.
Bulb and light
Under the shade is one E27 socket for a bulb of up to 60 W, which is not included. The fabric diffuses the light and hides the bulb, so the lamp glows as a bright dome. It is compatible with dimmable bulbs.
