CustomForm MANEN S is a table lamp with an opal globe set on a low black base. The rounded shade contrasts with the stepped edge of the circular plinth, while a black cable continues the two-tone design. This is the freestanding table version of the MANEN family, not a pendant intended to hang above a table.

Choose the bulb separately

The lamp has an E14 socket and is supplied without a bulb. The manufacturer specifies a 60 W bulb limit; this does not mean that every bulb fitted will consume 60 W. Check both the cap type and the wattage when choosing a separate light source.

Light colour and brightness depend on that choice. The milky shade conceals a direct view of the bulb, but its spherical appearance does not establish a lumen output or colour temperature. Select those characteristics from the bulb specification rather than using the brightness of a photograph as a performance guide.

A globe on a low plinth

The restrained geometry suits modern and minimalist interiors. MANEN S can provide supplementary tabletop lighting in a living room or on a bedside table in a bedroom. Its black base separates the pale globe visually from the surface beneath it, without extra arms or ornamental detailing. When choosing its position, allow for the visible supply cable as well as the outline of the lamp itself.
