CustomForm FIRKANT TABLE in black RAL 9005 reduces the familiar table-lamp silhouette to an open trapezoidal outline. A frame surrounds the exposed bulb, with a slim upright beneath it and spreading feet at the base. Unlike a conventional fabric shade, this outline leaves empty space around the light source and lets the background remain visible.

Choose the bulb as well as the light

The fitting uses an E27 socket, and the manufacturer specifies a maximum bulb wattage of 60 W. A bulb is not included and must be selected separately. The globe bulb shown in the photographs illustrates the appearance of the lamp rather than confirming the contents of the package.

Because the frame is open, the shape of the bulb remains part of the design even when the lamp is switched off. Consider its proportions within the outline as well as socket compatibility and the permitted wattage. Brightness and colour temperature depend on the bulb you choose; they are not fixed properties of this fitting. The frame does not fully screen the bulb, so its position relative to your line of sight matters.

Allow for a 60 cm table lamp

FIRKANT TABLE measures 60 cm high and 28 cm wide. Compare these dimensions with the available space on a side table or chest of drawers, particularly if a shelf sits above it. Beside a bed, also check where the exposed bulb will sit relative to eye level. This is the table version, not the FIRKANT FLOOR standing lamp.

A black outline rather than a solid shade

The restrained geometry supports minimalist and Scandinavian interiors, while the exposed bulb can relate to industrial details. It can provide supplementary lighting in a living room or bedroom; the manufacturer also identifies hotel-room use. Against a pale wall, the black frame reads clearly while the wall and surrounding furnishings remain visible through its outline.
