LUMINES Y 12-0000-48 is a silver-lacquered end cap for an LED profile, with an opening for the power cable. It is made from ABS plastic rather than aluminium: silver describes its surface finish, not the material underneath.
A profile end with cable access
The opening provides a route for the cable through the end of the profile. Choose this version where the supply cable needs to pass through the cap, rather than using a closed cap without a hole. The product photograph shows the front and rear of the same cap type, including the retaining projections on the back.
Matching the Y system
This cap is intended for the LUMINES Y profile and uses a push-fit installation. The manufacturer identifies it as universal rather than left- or right-handed. When selecting the finishing parts, check the profile system, finish and cable opening. Article 12-0000-48 identifies the silver-lacquered plastic version with a hole, not a grey or aluminium alternative.
