Sigma Sfera black and copper floor lamp 50336

Sfera 50336 arranges two black domes on opposite sides of a slender, tall stem. Set at separate levels, the shades leave their broad copper-coloured interiors clearly exposed. An irregular surface texture contrasts with the smooth black shells, giving the lamp visual depth even when switched off. The complete structure stands 156 cm high on a low circular base. It can therefore establish a lighting point beside a sofa, reading chair or occasional table without relying on an electrical outlet in the ceiling.

Two adjustable directions

Movable arms allow the shades to face different parts of the room. One point may address a reading position while the other lights a wall, tabletop or neighbouring area. Each dome has its own E27 holder for an LED lamp rated up to 15 W. Bulbs are not included, allowing output and colour temperature to be selected for the intended atmosphere. Matching sources create consistent light, while the head positions divide their roles spatially. The switch is fitted to the cable, so its accessibility and the route to a wall socket should be considered when placing the lamp.

Route the cable away from walking lines and avoid pulling it tightly behind furniture. Switch off the lamp and allow the bulbs to cool before repositioning either shade. The base needs a level surface for stability, and the fitting should never be moved by lifting its adjustable arms.
