Nowodvorski FOURTY M 10887 is a surface-mounted ceiling light with a long, narrow tube and one downward-facing light point. Its painted aluminium body comes in umbra grey P027, specified as RAL 7022. At 75 cm tall and only 4 cm wide, this version places the light noticeably below the ceiling without introducing a broad shade.
Allow for the full tube length
Check the ceiling height and the furniture beneath the proposed mounting position before choosing this fitting. The narrow body takes up little horizontal space, but its 75 cm length still needs to be included in your clearance calculations. Above a walkway, compare the bottom edge with the available headroom; above a kitchen island, check its distance from the worktop.
This is a directly mounted ceiling fitting, rather than a pendant suspended on a cable. Its uninterrupted vertical silhouette works as a single architectural accent or as a repeated shape in a group of lights. The plain cylindrical form supports modern, modernist and minimalist interiors without relying on decorative detailing.
A replaceable GU10 R35 LED bulb
The fitting takes one GU10 R35 LED light source rated at no more than 10 W. The bulb is not supplied. Keep the R35 designation in mind when ordering: the slim tube should not be treated as a fitting for any GU10 bulb. Brightness, colour temperature and beam angle are determined by the chosen light source, not by the grey finish of the lamp.
The manufacturer's One Click system allows the light source to be replaced without dismantling the fitting. The package contains the luminaire and instructions, with the compatible bulb to be selected separately.
Plan a particular pool of light
The opening at the lower end makes this a point-lighting choice. The manufacturer identifies hallways, kitchens, living rooms and bedrooms as uses, including kitchen islands and selected cabinetry or decorative features. Position the fitting and choose the bulb around the surface you want to illuminate rather than assuming one light point will evenly light an entire room.
