Gallery Direct Carrera leather armchair

Carrera is an armchair with an open oak frame and brown leather across its seat and tall back. The product images show straight, gently tapered legs, a horizontal rail beneath the seat and slender arms that continue into the rear of the frame. The naturally weathered appearance of the wood provides a calm counterpoint to the warm leather tone. This is not a bulky club chair: the exposed structure keeps the silhouette visually light and makes the construction legible from more than one angle.

Materials and form

• oak and plywood frame;
• brown leather on the upholstered seat and back;
• foam and polyfibre filling;
• weathered leg finish with a natural aged character;
• brown colour group.

The leather seat cushion is separate from the wooden structure, while the back has a softly rounded upper edge. A side view reveals the gently reclined line of the back and the tall, open sides. As a result, Carrera retains a clear profile when it is positioned freely rather than only against a wall. The manufacturer lists the product for indoor use.

Dimensions to consider

The armchair measures 68.5 cm wide, 72 cm deep and 82 cm high. Seat height is 46 cm, seat depth is 51 cm and the space between the arms is 42 cm. Check the complete depth and allow an easy approach from the front when planning its position. Net weight is 13 kg and gross weight is 18 kg. According to the manufacturer’s data, Carrera is supplied without assembly being required.

This is a standalone furniture piece for a buyer looking to pair brown leather with a visible oak frame. Compare its actual measurements with adjacent furniture and leave the practical clearance needed to use the seat comfortably.
