GAP 9384 is a surface-mounted ceiling fitting shaped as a rectangular box of lacquered aluminium in black RAL 9005. Two GU10 apertures sit in the underside, aimed straight down. The fitting occupies an 11 × 6 cm rectangle on the ceiling and drops 10 cm below it.
How large it is and how it goes up
Those 10 cm of drop are the figure to compare with your ceiling height and with the spot the fitting will hang over — above a worktop or by a doorway it is seen from the side, not only from below. The whole fitting weighs 0.33 kg.
Mounting is direct: the housing screws straight to the ceiling, with no suspension and no separate base. The fitting is protection class I, so the circuit needs a protective earth conductor. Into a 12 × 7 × 11 cm carton the manufacturer packs the fitting together with a user manual and mounting instructions.
Which bulbs fit
The fitting takes two GU10 lamps in the R50 reflector form, that is with a 50 mm envelope — wider reflectors such as ES111 will not go into the apertures. The manufacturer allows a maximum of 10 W per light point and LED lamps only; no bulbs are supplied.
Both points form a single lighting section, so they switch together from one switch. Colour and beam angle you choose with the lamp: a narrow beam lays two defined pools on the worktop, a wider one merges them into a single field. Dimming depends on the lamp and on a dimmer in the circuit — the fitting itself has no driver.
Build and where it can go
The body is lacquered aluminium in black RAL 9005, with no shade and no ornament, and sharp edges. The lamps sit recessed in the underside and do not project past the outline, so seen from the side no light source shows.
IP20 protection means mounting in dry interiors only; for a terrace or a shower zone this fitting is not intended. GAP is made in Poland and also comes in white P004 RAL 9003, for when the fitting should merge into a pale ceiling rather than stand out on it.
