The Gea Luce GFA1093N is a small recessed light with a satin-black square face and a circular light aperture. Its aluminium body and plain border give it a modern, minimalist appearance. An integrated LED module is included, so this is not a fitting for a separately selected screw-base bulb.
Neutral white light with a focused beam
The 3 W module delivers 250 lm at 4000 K. This is the neutral white version rather than a warm white alternative. A beam angle of 38° concentrates the light into a defined area. When planning a scheme, consider it an accent or one point within a larger arrangement, rather than expecting a single fitting to illuminate an entire room.
The diffuser incorporates an anti-glare optic. Operation is on/off only: the light is not dimmable, which matters when choosing its controls. It can supplement other lighting in a living room, bedroom, entrance hall or corridor. Its neutral colour temperature does not, by itself, make this modest light output sufficient for a desk or other work area.
Allow space for the separate driver
The face measures 35 × 35 mm. The manufacturer's drawing specifies a height of 50 mm and a mounting cut-out of 32 mm in diameter. Compare these dimensions with the intended construction before making the opening. The supplied driver is separate from the light body, so installation planning needs to account for that component as well as the fitting itself.
This model is intended for recessed installation indoors. A qualified installer must carry out connection to the 220–240 V supply with the mains switched off. The instructions recommend gentle cleaning with a damp cloth and mild detergent, followed by drying with a soft cloth. Keep water and cleaning solution away from cables and electrical parts. The manufacturer specifies a three-year warranty.
