Gea Luce GES2100 is a white 12 W LED outdoor ceiling light with a rectangular open-frame design. A matt aluminium structure surrounds a white methacrylate diffuser, with gaps between the frame and the light enclosure giving the fitting a layered geometric appearance. This is a three-dimensional fitting rather than a flat panel, measuring 24 × 14.5 × 10 cm.
A defined shape beneath the ceiling
The manufacturer specifies outdoor ceiling installation. Consider it for a covered terrace, balcony, gazebo or entrance canopy with a suitable mounting surface. Compare all three dimensions with the intended position: the depth of the housing matters particularly beneath a low canopy.
Straight edges, a white frame and an absence of ornamental detailing suit modern and minimalist settings. The outer structure remains a visible part of the design when the light is switched off, rather than disappearing into the ceiling like a recessed fitting.
Choose the white light before final installation
An LED module is already included, so there is no screw-in bulb to buy. An internal selector offers 3000, 4000 or 5000 K before the housing is finally closed. These settings move from warmer white through a more neutral tone to cooler white. They are installation choices, not remote colour controls for everyday use.
The corresponding outputs are 910, 1010 and 990 lm. Allow for that difference when planning the lighting instead of assuming identical output at every setting. The 116° beam is broad rather than a narrow spotlight. Operation is on/off only; the fitting is not dimmable.
Connection and care
The transformer is supplied with the LED module. A qualified installer should connect the fitting to a 220–240 V supply, including the protective earth required by its Class I construction. IP65 covers dust and water jets, not immersion. For cleaning, the instructions specify a damp cloth with a mild neutral detergent, followed by gentle drying. Keep water and cleaning solution away from electrical components.
