Gea Luce GSOP03 E27 Ceiling and Wall Lamp Holder, Brass Finish

Gea Luce GSOP03 is an E27 lamp holder with a round base for ceiling or wall mounting. A brass finish runs across the base and cylindrical socket cover. The bulb remains exposed, so its outline becomes part of the visible fitting rather than something concealed inside a shade.

Allow room for the bulb

The base measures 12 cm in diameter, and the fitting projects 9.3 cm from its mounting surface without a bulb. The base itself is 2.5 cm high; the cylindrical section is 4 cm in diameter. When planning a wall position, add the dimensions of your chosen light source. These measurements describe the holder and base alone, not the complete assembly with a bulb fitted.

Choose one E27 light source separately

The single E27 socket accepts a bulb rated at no more than 40 W. No bulb is supplied. Select colour temperature and light output from the specifications of the separate bulb: the brass finish does not determine either. The open construction displays a decorative bulb without surrounding it with a large shade. Its straightforward circle-and-cylinder form suits minimalist lighting schemes in living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, entrance halls and corridors.

Wiring and care

The manufacturer specifies indoor ceiling or wall installation and states that fixing accessories are supplied. This is a fitting for connection to the electrical installation, not a plug-in light. The supply is 220–240 V AC, and its Class I construction requires the protective connection shown in the instructions. Installation must be carried out by qualified personnel with the mains power switched off. For cleaning, the manufacturer recommends a damp cloth with mild detergent, followed by gentle drying with a soft cloth. Keep water and detergent away from cables and electrical components.
