The AMBRE BLACK hanging lamp is a two-light fixture built from a black metal bar and two round glass shades in an amber, honey tone, each suspended on its own cable.
How large the lamp is and where to hang it
The mounting bar is 50 cm long and 15 cm wide, and each of the two cables lets the shade hang up to 120 cm below the ceiling. This measurement is worth comparing with your own room height and the distance to the worktop or table the lamp is meant to hang over.
Two light points arranged in a line work well over an elongated kitchen counter or a rectangular table, where light needs to spread over a greater length than with a single shade.
How much light the AMBRE BLACK gives
The fixture takes two replaceable LED bulbs with an E27 base, with a maximum combined output of 60 W. Bulbs are not included, so you choose the light's colour and brightness yourself – for a warm, intimate effect, bulbs around 2700–3000 K work well. The amber glass of the shades also dims and tints the light passing through it into a warmer, amber shade.
Build
The bar and fittings are metal in a black finish, and the shades are glass in an amber, honey colour. The model belongs to Keter Lighting's AMBRE series, which also includes versions with one and three light points.
