Jupiter VANES 1852 gold and black pendant light with glass shade, 1×E27

Jupiter VANES 1852 is a single pendant light with a glass shade and rounded edges. A black cylinder above the shade is finished with gold-coloured details, while a slim suspension leads to the black ceiling canopy. Its steel and glass construction has no branching arms: the narrow upper section and broader shade define the outline.

Check the hanging space before choosing a position

The fitting measures 20 cm across, and the manufacturer's stated height range is 39–80 cm. Compare these dimensions with your ceiling height and the furniture below before planning installation. Above a dining table or kitchen island, check the distance from the lower edge of the shade to the surface. In a walking route, sufficient headroom must remain beneath the fitting.

A single pendant can mark a smaller area within a dining room, kitchen or living room. Several separately purchased fittings can be considered for a longer surface, with a suitable electrical connection planned for each. For a bedroom position beside the bed, check whether the stated height suits the space. The compact format can also be considered over a restaurant table or in a hotel room, without assuming that one light will illuminate the whole room.

Choose the E27 bulb separately

There is one E27 socket with a maximum power rating of 15 W. The light source is replaceable but is not supplied, so a separate bulb is required. Keep its power within the stated limit and check that its dimensions fit the shade. Brightness and colour temperature depend on that bulb rather than the gold-coloured finish. The shade's appearance in the photograph does not specify the light colour you will obtain.

Black elements with restrained gold accents

The cylindrical upper section, straight suspension and rounded glass suit modern and minimalist interiors. Gold-coloured details can relate to handles or other metal accents, while the black canopy remains a visible feature at ceiling level. The fitting operates at 230 V. Jupiter specifies a five-year warranty.
