Jupiter PLATINO 2073 pendant light, green and brushed brass finish, 1×E27

Jupiter PLATINO 2073 is a single pendant light with a green glass shade and a brass-plated steel structure. Brushed metal surfaces, a white shade interior and the decorative loop above the lampholder bring together the green glass and brass finish.

A single shade with classical detailing

The rounded shade is open underneath. A decorative loop sits above the socket, while the slender suspension leads to a circular ceiling canopy. This is the one-light version: its shape centres on a single shade rather than the branching arms of the larger fitting in the same family.

The manufacturer describes the design as classical. The green glass and brass-plated details also make it a considered option for a retro interior. When matching it to furniture and other fittings, account for both colours. Green is a substantial part of the visible shade, not simply a small accent on an otherwise brass light.

Plan the space below the shade

Width and depth are both 30.5 cm, and the maximum overall height is 166 cm. Compare these measurements with your ceiling height, table position and required clearance before installation. The maximum dimension does not establish a minimum suspension height.

A single shade can be positioned above a dining table or kitchen island, or used within a living room, bedroom or study lighting scheme. Its open underside makes the relationship to the surface below worth planning. Actual brightness depends on the bulb selected, however; the shape alone does not establish light output. The manufacturer specifies this fitting for indoor use.

Choose the replaceable E27 bulb separately

The fitting has one E27 socket, a 15 W bulb limit and a 230 V supply. No bulb is included. You select the light colour and lumen output to suit the intended position while staying within the stated wattage limit. The light source is replaceable, so changing the bulb does not mean replacing the complete fitting. Illuminated product photographs do not specify the properties of an included bulb. The manufacturer states a five-year warranty for the light.
