KRAUSE Solar Bollard Light LED 1.7W 3000K IP65 with Motion Sensor Black LE73678 Luces Exclusivas

The KRAUSE LE73678 is a low garden bollard from Luces Exclusivas that runs without a mains connection. A photovoltaic panel is set into the top cover: through the day it charges the built-in 3.7 V battery, and after dark that stored energy powers the LED. A motion sensor sits in the rim of the housing, so the light comes on when someone approaches the fitting.

An open aluminium cage

Six vertical rods span the gap between a round top cover and a plate-shaped base. The bollard stands 18 cm tall and measures 16 cm across, which keeps it in the background — it hides neither planting nor paving, yet clearly marks the spot where it stands. Everything is made of black-painted aluminium, a light, corrosion-free material that copes well with damp. The base plate is pre-drilled, so the fitting can be screwed down onto decking, a plinth, a low wall or any other solid surface.

Warm light, modest output

The integrated LED module draws 1.7 W and emits 89 lumens in a warm 3000 K. That is the output of a marker light: KRAUSE will not illuminate a whole driveway, but it will clearly define the edge of a path, a terrace step or the line of a border. Light escapes downwards and between the rods, casting a distinctive fan of rays across the surface. The light source is built in and supplied with the lamp — there is no bulb to buy and none to replace later.

Built for outdoor use

The luminaire is rated IP65: fully dust-tight and resistant to water jets from any direction. Rain, garden watering or hosing down the terrace are no problem. Battery operation also cuts installation down to a minimum — set the lamp in a sunny spot or screw it down, with no cable trench to dig and no electrician to call.

The KRAUSE family

Luces Exclusivas offers the series in three versions built around the same rod motif: the solar wall light LE73677 (16 × 17.7 × 3.2 cm, 145 lm), the solar bollard LE73678 shown here, and the taller LE73679 bollard, 50 cm high, mains-powered at 230 V and rated 107 lm. They can be combined to carry one design from the facade all the way to the far end of the garden.
