Lighting Pole NORLYS Lamppost 1277AL light grey 4 m – for Ø60 mm luminaire

Lamppost 1277AL is a lighting pole with a fixed height of 400 cm, made of powder-coated cast aluminium in light grey RAL 9006. It stands on a round base 234 mm across, and a luminaire with a socket for a Ø60 mm spigot slips onto its top. Only the pole is supplied – no luminaire, lamps or anchoring parts.

Height, diameters and delivery

The pole is 4 m tall, Ø75 mm at the bottom, with a Ø60 mm mounting spigot at the top. That second figure decides the luminaire: post-top fittings made for a Ø60 mm spigot fit, while one made for Ø50 mm needs a different pole. The height cannot be adjusted – for a lower light point, choose a height-adjustable pole.

The pole weighs 8.1 kg, or 9.55 kg packed. It ships in a 210 × 25 × 25 cm carton, shorter than the pole itself – a size to compare with your car boot or delivery point if you collect it yourself.

Anchoring and connection

The base is fixed to the anchoring elements through three ø14 mm holes set 120° apart on a 206.7 mm circle. Anchors and other accessories are ordered separately, so before buying decide whether the pole will stand on a concrete foundation or on a ground anchor.

Near the bottom is an inspection door, with a connection terminal behind it for cable up to 3 × 4 mm² in a round sheath up to ø12.5 mm, plus a terminal for the PE protective conductor. The pole is therefore earthed, and the joint with the supply cable stays accessible for later service without taking the luminaire down.

Where it fits

Norlys describes Lamppost 1277 as a lightweight pole for gardens and private grounds – unlike the road-lighting pole 1275 from the same range, which the manufacturer also intends for busier pavements and paths. Light grey RAL 9006 is a shade close to natural aluminium. The same pole is also made in graphite, white and black, and the manufacturer gives a 25-year anti-corrosion warranty.
