LED Lamp ES111 GU10 9W 3000K 120° with Diffuser, Black 9342 Nowodvorski

Nowodvorski 9342 is an ES111 LED lamp (also known as AR111) with a GU10 base — a light source with a large 11.1 cm flat face that screws straight into a standard 230 V GU10 holder, with no transformer and no separate driver. The black body and milky diffuser mean that in fixtures where the interior is visible — track spots, surface-mounted tube fittings, recessed rings — the lamp reads as part of the fixture rather than a replaceable insert.

A diffuser instead of a lens

The DIFFUSER version differs from its LENS twin in how the beam is shaped. Instead of a focusing lens it uses a milky diffuser that spreads the light across a wide 120° angle. The result: no hard, spot-like glare and no sharply defined pool of light, less discomfort when looking into the fixture, and even illumination over a sizeable part of the room. This is a lamp for general lighting, not for accenting a picture or a display case — the 30° lens variant is the better choice there.

Light output

The lamp draws 9 W and delivers 790 lumens — roughly what a traditional 60–75 W bulb produced, at about an eighth of the power. At 3000 K the light is warm white: friendly, evening-appropriate and comfortable to sit under for long stretches. A colour rendering index of ≥ 80 is enough for a living room, bedroom, hallway and most office interiors, and the rated life of 25,000 hours works out at roughly eight years at three hours a day.

Fitting and limitations

The lamp goes into a GU10 holder with a quarter turn, with the power switched off. Because of the ES111 format the fixture needs a correspondingly large aperture — a typical small GU10 MR16 holder will not take an 11.1 cm disc. The manufacturer notes that the lamp must not be used in tightly sealed fixtures that prevent free air circulation: LEDs and their electronics need to shed heat, and overheating shortens their life. The lamp is not dimmable on standard phase-cut dimmers.

Where it works

The wide 120° beam and warm colour make this a good backbone for general lighting in a living room, kitchen, dining room or hallway — especially in schemes with several track or tube fixtures spread along the space. It looks right in black fixtures, where its black body does not contrast with the inside of the tube.
