SLV 1005380 LED power supply for 24 V DC

SLV 1005380, also identified as LBV12W24-Z UNI, is an electronic power supply for LEDs that require a constant 24 V DC SELV output. Its load range is 0–12 W and its maximum secondary current is 500 mA. It is a power component for an LED system rather than a luminaire or a standalone light source.

The rated input is 100–240 V AC at 50–60 Hz. Rated current at 230 V is 70 mA and the stated power factor is 0.9 C. The manufacturer specifies open-circuit safety. Before selecting this unit, check that the connected LEDs require constant 24 V DC and that their combined load remains within 12 W.

Protection and installation

The driver is protection class II. In the event of a short circuit or overload, it disconnects electronically and restarts automatically after the fault has been rectified. For item 1005380, SLV specifies an ambient temperature range of -20 to +50 °C and a maximum tc-point temperature of 75 °C.

Installation must be performed only by a qualified electrician in accordance with applicable standards. All LEDs must be fully wired before mains power is switched on, with positive and negative conductors connected to the correct terminals. This power supply is not controllable by leading- or trailing-edge phase dimmers. When installed outside a luminaire, secure the cables in their strain reliefs and fasten the unit through its mounting holes.
