TRYSIL 1070GR is a complete NORLYS lighting pole: column and luminaire form a single 300 cm unit with one arm reaching 71 cm to the side. The extruded aluminium profile is powder-coated graphite (RAL 7016), and under the head sits a clear UV-stabilised polycarbonate cover.
How it lights
The Philips Fortimo LED module draws 9.9 W and produces 1691 lm, while the whole luminaire delivers 1594 lm at 12.2 W, or 130.7 lm/W. 3000 K is a warm light with a slight yellow tone; the CRI is 70. The Ledil SCL lens gives an IESNA type II / III distribution that stretches the light along the route rather than spreading it evenly all round, so the poles are set in a line along a driveway, path or park walk. A BUG rating of B1-U1-G1 means little light escapes upwards or sideways.
Control and wiring
The driver runs on DALI outdoor and supports DALI2 and NightDim, an automatic power reduction in the middle of the night. It leaves the factory set to maximum current; other parameters are programmed by arrangement with Norlys. The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 4 mm², or up to 5 × 2.5 mm² when looped through, and the cable can be up to 13.6 mm in diameter. With an inrush current of 15 A / 295 µs, Norlys allows 18 poles on a B 10A breaker, 29 on B 16A, 30 on C 10A and 49 on C 16A. The luminaire is protection class I, so it needs a protective earth conductor, and its surge withstand is 6 / 10 kV.
Installation, durability and service
The foundation parts are ordered separately: mounting adapter 1259, ground anchor 180 or concrete anchor 3091. The pole weighs 19.2 kg and its carton is 232 cm long, which matters for transport. IP65 protects against dust and water jets, and IK10 is the highest impact rating in the standard. The LED module and driver are replaced by a professional service, with a Norlys repair kit for them; the stated lifetime is L90 100,000 h for the module and 100,000 h for the driver.
