Lillehammer DC1580CG Outdoor Wall Sconce, Gray, NORLYS

The Lillehammer DC1580CG is an outdoor wall light with a compact rectangular body measuring 18.5 × 11 × 8 cm. The housing is a painted aluminium casting in cement grey. Light leaves the fixture at the top and at the bottom through lenses of optical glass, so the beams have clearly defined edges.

What light it gives and in which direction

The built-in LED module draws 7.2 W and emits 3000 K — warm white, close to the light of a traditional incandescent bulb. The fixture sends out two beams at different angles: one narrow at 4°, one wide at 60°. Which one points upwards is decided during installation, because the fixture can be turned over.

The module itself produces 1064 lm, but 131 lm leave the fixture; the narrow optic holds back the rest. This is a light for drawing on a wall, not for lighting a driveway or a lawn. CRI 80 is enough on a facade, and SDCM3 means that several units mounted side by side light in the same tone.

What the power supply requires

This is the low-voltage version: the LED module runs on 24 V DC in protection class III and needs an external regulated power supply, which is not included. The fixture is not connected directly to the 230 V mains — the supply is chosen separately and placed on the building side. The LED source itself is part of the fixture and comes with it.

Mounting and weather resistance

The fixture is fixed through two ø5 mm holes spaced 45 × 130 mm and weighs 1.7 kg. The terminals accept conductors up to 2 × 2.5 mm², and looping through to further fixtures up to 2 × 1.5 mm²; the EPDM gland takes round cable 7–10.5 mm in diameter.

IP65 means full protection against dust and against water jets, and IK08 means impact resistance. The manufacturer states an operating range from −30 to +65 °C, so the fixture stays on the facade through winter as well.
