Lillehammer DC1580GR is an outdoor wall light shaped as a compact box measuring 18.5 × 11 × 8 cm, made of powder-coated cast aluminium in graphite. Light leaves the top and the bottom of the body through lenses of optical safety glass — not through a milky diffuser — so the beam has a sharply drawn edge.
Two beams at different angles
Two LED modules work inside the fitting, each at a different angle: one a narrow 4°, the other a wide 60°. At installation you decide which of them points upwards — the fitting can be turned over and the beams swapped. On a flat facade this draws an asymmetric figure: a narrow streak one way and a broad wash the other.
Together the modules draw 7.2 W and produce 1064 lm, but 131 lm leave the fitting — the rest stays inside the narrow optic, which in exchange gives 377 cd of luminous intensity. This is a fitting for drawing with light on a wall, not for lighting a driveway or a lawn. 3000 K is warm white, and CRI 80 is ample on a facade.
What the supply requires
This is the low-voltage version: the LED module runs on 24 V DC and needs an external voltage-stabilised power supply, which is not included. The fitting cannot be wired straight to 230 V — the supply has to be chosen separately and given a place on the building side. The module is dimmable, and control happens at the power supply, according to the installation design.
Mounting and resistance to weather
The fitting is fixed through two ø5 mm holes spaced 45 × 130 mm. The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 2.5 mm², and looping further fittings through up to 2 × 1.5 mm²; the EPDM gland closes on round cable 7–10.5 mm across. IP65 means full protection against dust and against water jets, and IK08 means resistance to impact. The manufacturer permits operation from −30 to +65 °C, so the fitting stays on the facade through winter. The LED source is replaceable, but the replacement is done by a professional.
