LUMINES BRUNO LED profile for plasterboard
BRUNO is a silver-anodised LUMINES aluminium profile, 1 m long, designed to be built into plasterboard. The manufacturer describes it as a recessed ceiling and wall profile installed by plastering in. Its wall-side edge is matched to plasterboard thickness, helping to create a neat transition where wall and ceiling meet.
The profile directs light perpendicularly and is intended for decorative accent lighting with two LED strips. It can be used to create a shadow-gap effect. The power supply is positioned outside the profile. BRUNO is not a drive-over profile and is not intended for joining lengths; the manufacturer does not describe it as sealable and specifies IP20.
Finish and compatible parts
Variant 10-1534-10 has a silver anodised finish. LUMINES lists BASIC and BASIC FLEX diffusers and end caps with an opening for the BRUNO system. Diffusers and caps are selected separately for the project; this offer is for the 1 m profile itself. Other lengths of the same profile are not included with this variant.
Planning the installation
Before fitting, plan the LED strips, the power supply outside the profile and the plastering sequence. The profile is suited to a discreet line of light in a ceiling or along a wall. Its anodised silver surface gives the visible edge a neutral, technical appearance.
