What the 2in1 version means
The opening is only marked out, not cut through: the cap arrives closed and the cable passage is made on site. One article therefore covers both roles in an installation — the end of the run closed off, and the end the supply cable leaves from.
The maker lists the cap side as universal, so the same part closes the left and the right end of the profile. There is no second code to look up for the opposite side, unlike profile families with a left and a right cap, and one length of profile is closed with two identical pieces.
Fit and fixing
The cap belongs to a single section — the LUMINES ILEDO profile — and does not fit profiles from the brand's other systems. It is fixed with two screws through the corner holes, so it holds mechanically once tightened and comes off again when you need to get back to the strip.
The body is ABS plastic rather than aluminium, in a silver lacquer. The maker runs the same 2in1 shape for ILEDO in white, black and grey as well, so the end finish can be matched to the colour of the profile itself.
