The black lacquered LUMINES TALIA M2 is a mounting profile with a chamber intended to house a power supply. Article 10-0355-20 is 2.02 m long. Its role is to conceal the power supply within the lighting assembly, rather than replace the profile that carries the LED strip.
Match the system, not just the colour
M2 works with TALIA, and the manufacturer also confirms its use with UNICO and DOPIO. When assembling a lighting system, this compatibility matters more than a similar width or matching black finish. The TALIA installation drawings show the power supply chamber connected to a lower LED profile fitted with a DOUBLE diffuser.
This arrangement places the power supply along the light line. Before selecting a unit, compare its dimensions with the usable internal space and the requirements of the complete assembly. The profile's external dimensions do not describe the clearance available inside it.
Allow for the actual 2020 mm length
This article number identifies a 2020 mm section, not an exactly 2000 mm length. Account for that difference when joining sections or positioning the ends of the installation. The M2 cross-section is 36.7 mm wide and 64.5 mm high; the overall height of a finished fitting also includes the parts connected beneath it.
The TALIA datasheet describes M2 as a power supply mounting profile for surface-mounted lighting systems. End caps need matching to the assembly too: the manufacturer distinguishes between caps for M2 alone and for M2 combined with TALIA, with or without a hole.
A restrained component for linear lighting
Its flat sides and rectangular section suit modern, minimalist light lines. It can form part of a general or decorative lighting design where the power supply is to stay alongside the fitting. Light colour and distribution depend on the selected LED components and diffuser, not on the mounting profile itself.
