NORLYS Asker DC1309CS LED garden bollard 24 V 2700K, corten brown, 55 cm

NORLYS Asker DC1309CS is a 55 cm garden bollard with a head projecting over its upright body. The CS finish is a corten-brown coating on cast aluminium, rather than a body made from rusting steel. Its 24 V DC supply requires a separately selected external constant-voltage power supply.

Warm light directed towards the paving

Two LED modules produce light at 2700 K, a warm white with a slightly yellow tone. The shielded head directs a broad spread downwards, so the emitting side matters when positioning the bollard beside a path or terrace edge. The complete fitting delivers 543 lm; compare this outgoing light output when judging the brightness of finished bollards. The manufacturer lists an 8.7 W fitting rating separately from the modules’ 7.2 W. The modules support dimming, but the installer selects the control method and power supply for the project. An integrated dimmer should not be assumed.

Cast aluminium and a clear cover

The rectangular upright and horizontal head create a simple inverted-L outline. Allow for a width of 20 cm and a depth of 11 cm when checking the space beside paving or planting. The powder-coated cast-aluminium body has a clear, structured polycarbonate cover with UV stabilisation. This is not a milky diffuser. IP65 describes protection against dust and water jets for an outdoor installation. A silicone gasket and EPDM cable gland are parts of the fitting’s construction.

Plan the supply and fixing separately

This class III fitting operates on 24 V direct current and must not be connected directly to a 230 V supply. The external power supply and suitable fixings need to be provided separately. Its base has four 8 mm holes spaced at 18 × 50 mm. Anchors and mounting adapters are sold separately and should be selected for the prepared surface. A suitably qualified person must install the fitting and choose its supply. The LED modules can be replaced by professional service technicians, allowing the light source to be serviced without replacing the complete bollard.
