Lighting Pole NORLYS Asker Pole 1363GR graphite LED 12 W 3000 K 2.36 m

The Asker Pole 1363GR is a single-segment lighting pole 2.36 m high with the luminaire integrated into its top arm. The extruded aluminium profile is 11 cm wide, the arm projects 39 cm, and the whole pole is powder-coated in graphite RAL 7016. It stands on a base plate 24 cm square.

How much light it gives and how it spreads

A diffuser of clear, textured, UV-stabilised polycarbonate runs along the underside of the arm. The light is one-sided, symmetric and directed downwards, and ULOR is 0 %, so the pole does not shine into the sky or into neighbours' windows. Two Cree modules totalling 10.6 W produce 1988 lm, and the luminaire delivers 1128 lm at 12 W, enough to light a path, a driveway or part of a yard around the pole.

3000 K is a warm white. The pole dims on an ordinary TRIAC phase dimmer, either trailing-edge or leading-edge.

Foundation and connection

The base plate has four ø12 mm holes at 200 × 200 mm. The ground anchor and concreting anchor are not included; Norlys sells them separately, so the foundation type is chosen together with the pole. The lateral surface is 0.258 m², the figure used when sizing the foundation for wind load. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 4 mm², further poles can be looped through with up to 3 × 2.5 mm², and the gland accepts round cable up to 12.5 mm in diameter.

This is a protection class I luminaire, so the circuit needs a protective earth conductor; Norlys builds a class II version to order. The pole weighs 11 kg and ships in a 240 cm long box. Installation is carried out by a qualified electrician.

Durability and service

IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets, and IK10 is the top grade of impact resistance. The operating temperature range is −20 to +45 °C. The manufacturer states an L80 lifetime of over 102,000 h and L90 of over 52,600 h. The LED modules and driver are replaced only by a professional service.

Where it fits

Norlys intends the Asker Pole for private grounds and architectural schemes. The pole suits gardens, terraces and driveways, hotel and restaurant grounds, parks and residential streets. The plain, square-edged profile without ornament is a modern and modernist form.
